Lebanese President holds preparatory meeting ahead of Armenia visitDecember 6, 2011 - 11:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Lebanese President Michel Sleiman chaired a preparatory meeting for his upcoming trip to Armenia Monday, December 5, at Baabda Palace which was attended by MPs and ministers who will accompany him, The Daily Star reported. The visit will be from Dec. 8 to 10 and attendees put the final touches on the visit’s program and bilateral agreements that are to be inked. Accompanying Sleiman will be Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud, Industry Minister Vrej Sabounjian, Minister of State Panos Manjian, Metn MP Hagop Pakradounian and Beirut MPs Serge Torsakissian and Jean Ogassapian. Sleiman is set to hold talks with Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The delegation is also to hold meetings with the Lebanese community in Armenia, meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and pay a visit to the Armenian parliament. Bilateral agreements in the fields of tourism, education and culture are to be signed by the two countries.
