U.S. can't afford the luxury of attacking Iran - expert

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. can't afford the luxury of attacking Iran, an Armenian expert said.

As Tadevos Charchyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, chances for a war in Iran are scarce in view of unstable situation in Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq. “Now, in several years, the war might become an option in solving the Iranian issue, were the U.S. find the situation propitious. In the meanwhile, the U.S. will limit itself to anti-Iranian rhetoric,” the expert said.

The expert ruled out recurrence of Libyan scenario in Iran, the latter being one of the most powerful regional states. “Tehran won't be the first to start a war either, having enough domestic issues on its shoulders,” Charchyan concluded.
