ODIHR director hopes for Armenia’s assistance to observer mission

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) expressed hope for Armenia to invite ODIHR mission to observe parliamentary election in the country.

As Janez Lenarcic told a news conference, organized on the sidelines of OSCE Ministerial Council sitting, “the work of the mission is preceded by the visit of the preliminary assessment group to the country. The group will have on-site meetings with all the parties to electoral procedure to make a relevant report on the expected format of the observer mission.”

“I hope ODIHR will be given a timely invitation as well as possible assistance in implementation of observer mission in Armenia,” Lenarcic stated.
