EU CONTINUES DISCUSSING ARMENIAN-TURKISH RELATIONS NORMALIZATION ISSUE

PanARMENIAN.Net - We are continuing to discuss the issue of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations with our friends from Armenia and Turkey, EU Council Secretary General Javier Solana told journalists after the yesterday's meeting with Armenian President Robert Kocharian in Brussels. At the same time he noted that the improvement of relationship with Armenia is not the pre-condition for Turkey's entry to the EU, Mediamax agency reports. "The South Caucasian region is experiencing a complicated situation at present and the Armenian leader and I discussed the ways of its stabilization", - J. Solana said.
