Mobile service revenues total USD 140 mln in ArmeniaDecember 12, 2011 - 12:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - ComNews Research analyst Maria Korobkova made a presentation at “Technologies and Telecommunications in Mass Media” ongoing annual conference at Armenia Marriott Hotel. According to her, the past 3 years saw 65% increase in the number of mobile subscribers in Armenia against average 35.7% increase in CIS states. “Many link the increase in mobile services with local population number, while in fact it is conditioned by investments,” Korobkova said. Though mobile service revenues decreased by 47.6% to total USD140 mln. in 2011 against USD 243 mln. of 2008, 21.9% increase in Armenia’s subscribers’ talk duration has been observed in 2010.
