However, as Hay Dat French Bureau told PanARMENIAN.Net no comment concerning Fassier’s statement has been provided, nor was the address responded. OSCE Minsk Group co-chair Bernard Fassier, soon to be replaced by Jacques Faure, stated, “I understand the suffering Azerbaijan must feel, with its lands occupied. As a French man, I know all too well what the occupation is.” The statement was made during Dec 8 round-table discussion titled, Conflict between Armenian and Azerbaijan, Forgotten Conflict.
