Armenian Ambassador, Canada FM discuss bilateral tiesDecember 14, 2011 - 18:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeghanyan met with Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird. At the meeting, the Minister handed over the copy of the agreement on establishment of Armenia-Canada diplomatic relations to the Ambassador to stress Canada’s adherence to strengthening of ties. The parties further discussed strengthening of economic cooperation between the countries, with the Ambassador expressing gratitude for Canadian parliament’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide. In conclusion, the Ambassador passed Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian’s invitation to Mr. Baird, Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reported.
