Status quo in Karabakh conflict advantageous for Baku – Armenian MP![]() December 16, 2011 - 14:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement will continue to be peaceful, according to an Armenian member of parliament. “Armenian authorities, however, should remain vigilant since “from time to time Azerbaijan ventures into provocations, reminding us that the conflict has been merely frozen”, the head of standing parliamentary committee on financial-credit and budgetary affairs, Gagik Minasyan said. He mentioned that persistence of the status quo is more advantageous for Azerbaijan. “In case of changes, Azerbaijan will have to face realities that have been carefully hidden from the public by the Aliyev regime.” ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
