Ataurk's name to be used as trademark in EU states

PanARMENIAN.Net - A British-born Muslim entrepreneur Muhammed Sujah Jioher Yaqub won the Ataturk trademark case against Turkey.

In 2005, Mr. Yaqub registered Ataturk trademark to be allowed its use in sale of goods in EU states.

Turkey brought an action against the UK citizen, protesting the trademark registration.

However, the British court dismissed Turkey's action, allowing Mr. Yaqub the trademark use, Turkish media report.
