A joint statement of presidents of Armenia and Tajikistan, passed yesterday, specifically expresses satisfaction with the level of bilateral interaction in various fields and with stability of political relations. The state leaders emphasized the importance of enlarging bilateral cooperation in the commercial and economic sphere and said it was necessary for the Armenian-Tajik inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation to commence work.
