MEASURES DEVOTED TO ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY TO BE HELD IN ITALY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Within the framework of the measures being organized in Italy on the occasion of the 88 anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a conference will be held at Armenian College of Rome, at which historian, professor of Perugia University Marco Impalatio will deliver a report. Moreover, as reported by the Armenian embassy in Italy, Atom Egoyan's "Ararat" film in Italian will be shown in the country cinemas that day. A liturgy in commemoration of the Genocide victims will be offered at the Armenian Catholic Church of Rome April 25. Masses will also be held at Milan and Venice churches. The cycle of measures devoted to the Armenian Genocide will finish with "Right to Memory" conference organized by the Armenian embassy and Toskana authorities in Florence May 6. "Vegner and Armenians of Anatolia" exposition will open within the framework of the seminar.
