PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy of the Azeri parliament Eldar Ibrahimov put forward a proposal to print a new model of the national currency with "eternal leader of the Azeri people Heydar Aliyev" depicted on the banknotes. The suggestion was made in the course of the discussion in the parliament focused on the issue of carrying out the devaluation of the Azeri manat in 2005. Head of the Azerbaijani Central Bank Elman Rustamov viewed the proposal necessary and stated about his intention to discuss the matter Azeri President Ilham Aliyev.
