  Expert: Armenia remains strongest military force in region December 23, 2011 - 13:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The director of Regional Studies Center is confident Armenia remains the strongest military force in the region in terms of defense potential. “However, Armenia's might doesn't suggest a threat, aiming at preservation of regional stability,” Richard Giragosian told a news conference in Yerevan. The expert further stressed the need for Armenia to preserve current balance of forces. In this context, Giragosian pointed out the importance of military reforms to boost the expertise of Armenian army officers as well as a struggle to eliminate tragic incidents in armed forces. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
