Medvedev: Karabakh settlement possible

PanARMENIAN.Net - President of the Russian Federation commented on a current possibility of Nagorno Karabakh conflict resolution.

“Karabakh settlement depends on good will of the conflict sides and their readiness to heed each other’s arguments,” Dmitry Medvedev said.

According to President Medvedev, Moscow will further contribute to peaceful resolution of the conflict.

Medvedev also noted that he had raised the issue in a telephone conversation with Ilham Aliyev.

Besides, eight meetings in trilateral format have recently been held through Russian President’s mediation, RIA Novosti reported.

“We managed to present to the parties the issues of Karabakh settlement regarding which their positions diverge,” Medvedev said.
