Australian MP to visit Genocide victims’ memorial

PanARMENIAN.Net - Australian Labor Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Council Walt Secord arrived in Armenia.

A visit to Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide victims’ memorial is on the parliamentarian’s visit agenda.

After his arrival in Yerevan, the MP left for Stepanakert to familiarize himself with the situation in Nagorno Karabakh. On the sidelines of his visit, the Australian MP will meet with the vice speaker of Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov.

Walt Secord is a deputy head of Armenia-Australia parliamentary friendship group, an active supporter of Armenian Genocide recognition.
