PanARMENIAN.Net - King Arthur Abraham’s hotly-anticipated ring return has electrified German boxing fans. While a crowd of 1,000 people attended January 7 open work-out at the Europapark Rust, all 4,000 tickets for January 8 fight against Pablo Farias (19-1, 11 KOs) have been sold, BoxingScene.com reports.

“I am very grateful for the support of the fans,” King Arthur (32-3, 26 KOs) said. “I will put on a great show. 2012 will be a big year for me. I want to be world champion again.”

In the co-featured main event at Offenburg´s Baden-Arena, World Boxing Organization (WBO) Super-Middleweight Champion Robert Stieglitz (40-2, 23 KOs) will put his title on the line against Henry Weber (15-0-1, 3 KOs).

“Weber is young and hungry but I will defend my title,” Stieglitz said.
