Bomb kills university professor in IranJanuary 11, 2012 - 11:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A bomb has killed a university professor, in an attack coinciding with the second month anniversary of the explosion that killed a senior Iranian nuclear scientist. An assailant on a motorcycle attached a magnetic bomb to the car of Mostafa Ahmadi on Wednesday, Jan 11 morning, killing the professor and injuring two others. The incident took place near Gol Nabi Street in north Tehran, AP reported citing Iran's semiofficial Fars news agency. It was not immediately clear if Ahmadi was involved in Iran's nuclear program, or in what department he was teaching. However, several Iranian nuclear scientists have been assassinated in recent years. Tehran has blamed the killings on Israel and the U.S. Both countries deny the accusations. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
