  Azerbaijan continues ceasefire violations in 2012 January 14, 2012 - 14:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - With the start of 2012, heavy ceasefire violations continued at the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces, with Azerbaijan firing around 90 shots from various caliber weapons towards Armenian positions on December 31-January 1, and 1700 shots towards the front line. Despite Azeri army’s aggressiveness, NKR forces refrained from retaliatory measures, continuing with their military duty, NKR defense army’s press service reported. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive.
