PACE co-rapporteur hails progress in Armenia’s reform implementation

PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 16, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with PACE monitoring co-rapporteur on Armenia John Prescott, noting Armenia’s readiness to fulfill commitments in the framwrok of cooperation with Council of Europe.

The co-rapporteur, in turn, gave possitve assessment to implementation of democraic reforms in the country.

Discussion of upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia and a number of regional issues was also on meeting agenda.
