Armenia-Georgia border points’ modernization to cost euro 50 mln

PanARMENIAN.Net - Modernization of Bagratashen, Gavar and Bavra check points at Armenia-Georgia border, as well as Ayrum railway station will cost about euro 50 mln., head of The South Caucasus Integrated Border Management (SCIBM) UNDP project said.

Grigori Malintsyan noted that Armenian National Security Council (NSC) has already proposed to launch modernization works this year.

Dwelling on funding sources, Mr. Malintsyan noted that they might be both budgetary means and funding from international organizations.
