Freedom House assesses Armenia as “partially free” country

PanARMENIAN.Net - Freedom House Annual Report 2012 included Armenia and Georgia on the list of “partially free” countries, whilst placing Azerbaijan among “non-free” states.

Freedom House assessed the situation in 195 countries and 14 territories, whose status arouses international disputes.

The assessment, based on two criteria: political rights and civil liberties, noted 87 states as free.
