  Artsakh President attends Karintak battle anniversary event January 26, 2012 - 14:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 26, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the Shushi region to attend а solemn event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of heroic battle in the village of Karintak. “The defense of Karintak, being among the first and fundamental victories, has a unique place in the history of Artsakh national liberation struggle. This battle proved that patriotism, faith and dedication are able to defeat the overwhelming enemy odds,” President Sahakyan said. In conclusion, Karabakh leader stressed the development of the Republic and reconstruction of the villages destroyed as the best tribute to those who shed their blood for Artsakh independence.
