EDUARD SHEVARNADZE WELCOMED ARMENIANS OF GEORGIA FIRST FORUM PARTICIPANTS

PanARMENIAN.Net - I am glad that among Armenia's intellectual elite there are people originated from Georgia, as reported by Arminfo agency Georgian President Eduard Shevardadze's message addressed to the participants of the First Forum of the Armenians of Georgia says. The forum took place in Yerevan last weekend. The Georgian leader particularly called this phenomenon quite natural, as the Armenian community of Georgia gave the world a number of outstanding scientists, art and cultural workers. Addressing the forum participants Eduard Shevarnadze noted that they, being Georgia's delegates, are entrusted with the mission to consolidate the traditions of friendship and brotherhood between the peoples of the neighbor republics.
