Chinese language school may be opened in ArmeniaJanuary 26, 2012 - 19:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 26, Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan met with Ambassador of China to Armenia Tian Changchun. During the meeting Minister Ashotyan noted that Armenia-China cooperation yields to the level of economic and political ties between the two countries. He further attached importance to the new education initiatives between the two states, stressing the plan to open a high school with the Chinese language to be taught. Discussion of Armenian-Chinese joint education projects was also in focus of the meeting. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
