UN SECRETARY GENERAL CONFIRMED POSSIBILITY OF RESOLVING NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT POLITICALLY

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh conflict can be settled in a political way and in case of mutual concessions made by the conflicting parties, the reply letter of UN Secretary General Kofi Annan to Azeri foreign minister Vilayat Guliyev says. It should be reminded, that in September the Azeri minister addressed a letter to the UN Secretary General stating about "the violations of the cease-fire regime by the Armenian party" at the contact line of the Nagorno Karabakh and Azeri armed forces. As reported by Turan agency according to the Azeri MFA, in his letter K. Annan called the parties to conflict to preserve the armistice regime and continue cooperation with the OSCE Minsk group for Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.
