FYR Macedonia Eurovision entry to be presented Feb 29

PanARMENIAN.Net - FYR Macedonia broadcaster MKRTV has announced that the official presentation of their entry for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, Black And White will be screened on February 29 in a special show.

According to eurovision.tv, the show will last for an hour and a half. Broadcaster MKRTV has promised many surprises during the course of the evening, and has stated that artists from FYR Macedonia and other Balkan nations will perform in the build up to the premiere of the entry for Europe's Favourite TV Show in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Kaliopi Bukle is the artist representing FYR Macedonia. The title of Kaliopi's entry in Baku is Black And White. Kaliopi has written the text herself and it was composed by Romeo Grill.

Kaliopi was also chosen to represent her country in the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, with the song Samo Ti, but unfortunately, as there were 29 countries vying for 22 places that year alongside hosts Norway, she was eliminated in a behind closed doors semi final, along with Israel, Germany, Denmark, Russia, Romania and Hungary.
