Ex-FM, Prosperous Armenia may join efforts - expert![]() February 2, 2012 - 12:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Caucasus Institute director believes ex-foreign minister Vartan Oskanian and Prosperous Armenia party may join efforts on the threshold of parliamentary elections, both seeing benefits in the union. According to Alexander Iskandaryan, “to Oskanian, this would be a good chance to return to politics. The union may boost the image of Prosperous Armenia, allowing it to abandon the role of a “little brother”.” Vartan Oskanian reportedly admitted the possibility of cooperation with Prosperous Armenia, noting, though, that the final decision hasn’t been taken. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
