Russia, Syria to continue military cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia continues military and technological cooperation with Syria, Nikolai Volobuyev, the deputy general director of the Russian Technologies said, according to Interfax-AVN.

“Our cooperation continues in the absence of the same amount of international sanctions on Syria that Iran was subjected to,” he said.

“Upon cancellation of S-300 missile supply to Iran, Russia returned the advance payment it was given. We had to follow the government-adopted decisions, prompted by UN Security Council sanctions. We can safely say we fulfilled our international obligations,” Russian Technologies official said.
