Suren Poghosyan wins RSSU Amateur Cup of Moscow Open

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian’s Suren Poghosyan won RSSU Amateur Chess Cup of Moscow Open 2012, losing only one point during the nine rounds.

Meanwhile, Avetik Grigoryan beat Dariusz Świercz (Poland) in the 9th round of RSSU Student Grandmaster Cup to come 4th with 5 points.

With 7 points Ukraine’s Yaroslav Zherebukh won the tournament.

In women’s tournament, Lilit Galoyan scored 6,5 points to come 9th, while Evgenia Dolukhanova finished 20th with 5 points.
