London to host International Art Fair

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 20/21 International Art Fair will take place at the Royal College of Art, London, from February 16 through 19.

According to Art Knowledge News, the fair features modern and contemporary art from the UK but has a significant number of dealers who specialize in work from China, India, Japan, Russia, Poland, Serbia and the Ukraine. However, art from a whole host of other countries will also be on show including many European countries, and, this year a special exhibit from Australia. International names include Braque, Chagall, Matisse, Miro, Picasso (all works on paper), plus British favorites such as Peter Blake, Damien Hirst, David Hockney and Henry Moore, together with many emerging and less well known artists whose work will be there to be discovered and enjoyed.

An added attraction is a display from the Royal College of Art Printmaking Department.

The fair is now in its sixth year and has carved out a special place in the arts calendar. Such was the demand for stands at the last fair the organizers were able to take more space at the Royal College bringing the number of stands to 60. This enlarged fair was very popular and it will now stay this size. Included will be oils, original prints, water colors, drawings plus some photography, sculpture and ceramics – ranging from 1900 to the present day. The price range is from a few hundred pounds upwards.
