Ahmadinejad dubs Western democracy big lie

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cautioned that the US and certain western countries under the name of democracy have kept hegemony over the world through the so-called international organization, and are exerting the greatest looting of the nations' wealth under the guise of world management.

Addressing the 25th International Conference on Islamic Unity, he said in Tehran on Wednesday, Feb 8 that the west-advocated kind of democracy is but a mere lie and deception, stressing that national sovereignty is impossible without a common ideal and due united efforts in the way.

Ahmadinejad said human beings are degraded under the western like democracy for the sake of the vested interests of the Zionists and the owners of wealth.

President Ahmadinejad underlined that today's arrogance is, in fact, the worst in history in plundering the nations' wealth and belittling them even compared with those pharaohs of the time.

He said the world Zionism, which has now deep footholds in US structure, has got a point through historical experience that colonialism and slavery cannot fully materialize their vested interests. Thus, the Iranian president noted, they decided to prop up a new power which on its façade takes gimmicks of democracy, freedom-seeking and human rights, but follows the historical role of colonialism and manslaughter in deed, Iran English Radio reported.
