ARMAVIR CITY OF RUSSIA AND THAT OF ARMENIA BECAME FRATERNAL

PanARMENIAN.Net - An agreement on cooperation between two cities both called Armavir - a regional center in Armenia and a city in the Krasnodar region of Russia - was signed the other day. Mayors of the two cities - Viktor Kolodyazhny and Ararat Zakarian, signed the accord on fraternity written in two languages - Russian and Armenian. It should be noted that the Russian city of Armavir was founded in late 18-th century by Armenian settlers and was called this way in honor of ancient capital of Great Armenia.
