RPA candidate Aram Danielyan wins Hrazdan mayor race![]() February 13, 2012 - 10:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to preliminary information, current mayor of the Armenian northeast town of Hrazdan, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) candidate Aram Danielyan won the mayoral race on Sunday, Feb 12. He garnered 13079 votes, while Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc member Sasoun Mikaelyan gained 11506 votes, according to Central Election Commission website. Police press service noted that investigation into the election violations recorded is presently under way. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
