ARMENIA HIGHLIGHTS DEVELOPING RELATIONS WITH CHINA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia attaches utmost importance to developing relations with China, as Armenian prime minister, co-chairman of the Republican party (RPA), which is the ruling one in the country, Andranik Margarian stated at the meeting with the Chinese delegation headed by permanent member of the Chinese Communist Party Politburo Lo Gan being in Yerevan on the RPA invitation. Commenting on the issue of economic development, the prime minister particularly marked the experience gained in the sphere of the chemical industry. In his words bilateral relations resulted in creating a program of a joint enterprise manufacturing synthetic rubber. Some other joint projects are also being discussed in this sphere. The prime minister noted that this successful experience should be spread over the other fields of cooperation such as energy, agriculture, information technologies and light industry. A. Margarian welcomed active participation of the Chinese companies in the tenders in the sphere of Armenian power engineering as well as in other programs.
