  Expert: U.S. will foster strengthening of Free Democrats party in Armenia February 14, 2012 - 17:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian political analyst Karen Kocharyan called attention to U.S. support for Free Democrats opposition newly formed Armenian party, noting that it has real chances to gain seats in future parliament. According to the expert, U.S. ambassadors’ visits to Free Democrats office proves America’s attempts to foster the party’s becoming a major political force in Armenia. Mr. Kocharyan further forecast Free Democrats’ union with another pro-Western force, Heritage party. Expert on political and electoral technologies Armen Badalyan, in turn, called attention to use of black PR by Heritage, whilst urging to divert attention from Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc and Prosperous Armenia.
