Hrant Melkumyan tied game vs. Evgeny Tomashevsky (Russia), Karen Grigoryan - Eltaj Safarli (Azerbaijan), Vladimir Akopian – Yaroslav Zherebukh (Ukraine) games also ended in a draw. With 5,5 points Melkumyan comes 5th, Grigoryan is the 22nd with 5 points and Akopian is placed 32nd with 4,5 points. Ukraine’s Anton Korobov leads the tournament with 6 points. The festival prize fund totals 125.000 euro. The three tournaments (A, B, C) will be held in 9 rounds in line with contenders’ ranking points.
