“Hannibal” series gets 13-episode order from NBCFebruary 15, 2012 - 19:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - NBC network has given a 13-episode order to the series "Hannibal", a thriller based on the Thomas Harris novel and "The Silence of the Lambs" predecessor "Red Dragon," The Wrap reported. The series, which will feature Lecter and his protege, FBI agent Will Graham, in the beginning stages of their relationship, will be written and executive-produced by "Pushing Daisies" and "Heroes" veteran Bryan Fuller. (Fuller is also executive-producing the network's edgy, dramatic reworking of the classic comedy "The Munsters.") Martha De Laurentiis - who produced the Harris-based films "Red Dragon" (the 2002 version), "Hannibal" and "Hannibal Rising," will also executive-produce the series, which comes from Gaumont International Television.
