FM presents Armenia’s input to combating drug trafficking![]() February 16, 2012 - 20:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 16, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian partook in Vienna-hosted third Paris Pact ministerial meeting on drugs from Afghanistan. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and high-level officials from 50 countries addressed the conference. In his speech Minister Nalbandian briefed on Armenia’s input to struggle against drug trafficking, stressing Armenia’s readiness to back Paris Pact and other international initiatives aimed at reducing illegal drug production and trade. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees. Friday night 8 trees were torched along the beautiful main entrance.
