The ruling came from Judge Peter Guntz of Munich’s Regional Court in Germany, and it allows Apple to enforce a permanent injunction against a number of Motorola’s Android devices at anytime. The court evaluated three different embodiments, two of which Apple won. The Cupertino-based company was unsuccessful on the third embodiment, which involved the Motorola XOOM.
