ARMENIA PREPARES TO COMING NATO MANEUVERSApril 11, 2003 - 22:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The closing conference on planning "Cooperative Best Effort-2003" multinational military exercises within NATO "Partnership for Peace" program to be held in Armenia in the latter half of June will be held in Yerevan April 14-17. The armed forces personnel of 17 NATO member and partner countries will participate in the maneuvers. Over 100 Armenian infantrymen will participate in the exercises. Let us note that the maneuvers aim at increasing the level of interaction of light infantry forces in the course of peacekeeping operations being held under the aegis of the UN.
