NA ex-speaker: Armenia must form political institutions

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ex-speaker of Armenian National Assembly links effectiveness of political decisions with the number of factors involved such as non-governmental organizations, lobby groups representing interests of various society layers.

“Civil society activity plays a major role in taking effective political decisions,” Khosrov Harutyunyan said in an interview with PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, stressing the need for Armenia to shape political institutions.

He further linked the issues related to intensification of civil society activity to information technologies and social networks.

Dwelling on RA Public Council's cooperation with civil society members, Mr. Harutyunyan noted the consultative significance of the Council.
