Armenia’s major taxpayers import volumes decreased in December 2011![]() February 20, 2012 - 12:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In December 2011, Armenia’s major taxpayers import volumes decreased by 6.5% compared to the same period of 2010, making up AMD 83.6 billion. The figures are reported by the Analysis of summarized indices of major taxpayers monitoring for December 2011, published by the State Revenue Committee at the Government of Republic of Armenia. Monitoring was conducted among 440 manor taxpayers of Armenia. Growth of the index by AMD 18.7 billion was reported in 148 big companies, drop of AMD 24.2 billion was noted in 156 companies respectively. In December 2011, Armenia’s major tax payers’ product export volumes totaled AMD 31.5 billion against AMD 28 billion in the same period of 2010, which is AMD 3.5 billion more. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
