Orlando Bloom cast as South African police officer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Orlando Bloom has been cast as a South African police officer in Zulu, according to Belfast Telegraph.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor and Blood Diamond star Djimon Hounsou will play a pair of coppers investigating the murder of a high profile rugby player's 18-year-old daughter, Screen Daily reports.

The film is directed by Jerome Salle, who has adapted the screenplay with Julien Rappeneau from the book by Caryl Ferey.

It is set to start shooting in Cape Town this July.

Orlando will next be seen on screen in the thriller Cities and in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
