NKR ARMY PREVENTED ATTEMPT OF REDEPLOYMENT OF AZERI BASE STATIONS

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the night of April 8 the armed forces of Azerbaijan undertook an attempt of redeployment of their base stations in the neutral zone near Karakhanbeyli settlement situated in the south direction of the contact line between the Azeri and Nagorno Karabakh armed forces. As the press service of the NKR defense ministry told "Mediamax" agency, the NKR defense army detachments took relevant measures, resulting in the adversary being compelled to retreat to its previous positions. No one from the Karabakh army suffered in the incident. The NKR defense ministry press service drew attention to the fact that since 2000 the Azeri party resorted to such actions along the whole of the contact line, trying to maximally approach the defense lines of the Nagorno Karabakh army and to fortify new positions.
