OSCE Mission holds regular monitoring of contact line

PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 24, in accordance with previously achieved agreement with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission held scheduled monitoring of the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces in direction of Askeran province.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was held by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Christo Christov (Bulgary) and Marius Puodziunas (Lithuania) and William Prior (Great Britain).

On the opposite side, the monitoring group was headed by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzey Kasprzyk.

The monitoring was held in accordance with the agreed schedule. No violation of the ceasefire was fixed.

From Karabakh side, the monitoring mission was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense, NKR MFA press service reported.
