PanARMENIAN.Net - President of France Nicolas Sarkozy included a song on the Armenian Genocide in the playlist of his election campaign.

According to media reports, French presidential candidates published the lists of songs to be played during their election campaigns.

Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande presented their favorite playlists comprising mostly French pop-music. Analysts say that the choice of songs can indicate the candidates’ personality and their intentions.

French media reports say that Nicolas Sarkozy’s playlist includes a song of the French singer of Armenian origin Charles Aznavour. The song titled “Ils sont tombés (“They have fallen”) refers to the Armenian Genocide.

In addition, Sarkozy included his wife Carla Bruni’s song L’Amoureuse (“In love”) in his playlist.
