Putin assassination plot disclosed

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ukrainian and Russian security services have uncovered a group of militants plotting an assassination attempt at Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, the state-run Channel One said on Monday, Feb 27.

The group of criminals, who were already on the international wanted list, were detained in the Ukrainian city of Odessa.

According to the TV channel, the gang was planning to assassinate Putin in Moscow, soon after the presidential elections which will take place on March 4.
