MOSCOW NOT WORRIED BY US-AZERI EXERCISES IN CASPIAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - The US-Azeri military exercises being held in the Caspian do not make Moscow worry, stated Russian President's special representative for the Caspian Viktor Kalyuzhny, Russian media reported. "Azerbaijan is the actual participant of the works in the oil sector of the Caspian Sea, thus it has a right to solve its security problems in the lot," Kalyuzhny noted. At that he accentuated that the maneuvers "are of only practical-engineering, not political nature." It should be reminded that the maneuvers started January 26 aim at enhancing the skills of the Azeri naval forces for securing oil platforms in the Caspian Sea.
