  Prosperous Armenia holds 6th congress in Yerevan March 17, 2012 - 13:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan hosts the 6th congress of the Prosperous Armenia party, with Armenian urban development minister Vardan Vardanyan opening the event. Vardanyan said 6788 delegates out of the total 6812 are attending the gathering. President of Armenia, leader of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan is also present. ARF Dashnaktsutyun representatives Hrant Margaryan and Armen Rustamyan, Orinats Yerkir members Artur Baghdasaryan and Heghine Bisharyan, and Heritage party representative Stepan Safaryan are also participating. Foreign guests include vice-speaker of the Russian Duma Sergei Neverov, ex-president of Croatia Stjepan Mesic, member of Ukraine’s Regions Party Vadim Kolesnichenko. The Communist Party of China is expected to send a video statement to the congress.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
