According to the ministry’s press service, the minister will meet with Kansas governor Sam Brownback, Senator Stephen Morris, speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives Mike O'Neal, as well as Adjutant General of Kansas Lee Tafanelli. In Washington, Ohanyan will hold meetings with head of Pentagon Leon Panetta, CIA director David Petraeus, U.S. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Joseph McMillan, assistant secretaries of state Philip Gordon and Andrew J. Shapiro, to discuss issues related to bilateral Armenian-U.S. cooperation in defense sphere, as well as regional security issues.
